it sounds beutiful i love lace but one time i saw this dress that was like a v neck
with this blue lace but it was over the worlds ugliest orangey colour IMO it ws at le chateau and i was looking a the dress and thinking uggg it might be good looking on some people but definetley not on me or my style
You're welcome, BB! Anything to help you! And I repeat, it wasn't a stupid question...the only way you'd probably ever know was to ask me, right? I'm glad I could help you, though.
Can't mistake Lana Turner in the first photo. She was definitely one of THE most gorgeous classic actresses ever.
In in odd way, I think the classic actresses do lacy pieces more justice. Actresses of today have this weird way of...I don't know...not adequately showing it's total appeal.
Autumn, thanks..your such a sweetie! While I'm thinking about it, have you ever seen
the movie "Roman Holiday"? I saw a snippet of it yesterday, it was in the movie "You, Me and Dupree"...it looks good. I def. want to rent that movie. If you have seen it..is it a love story,
mystery or what? It had Audrey Hepburn and Gregory Peck in it...I love both of them, and I know you do too.
You're so welcome, BB! Of course, of course, I've seen Roman Holiday! But you probably already figured that I've seen it, right? It's very good, and it's definitely a romance, alrighty! You
should rent it, along with The Shop Around the Corner, lol.
about the above pics the only one that looks good IMO is anne hathaway but teh classic actresses just have this affect on it fo you know what i mean lol
and now it's just a tight dress with a little bit of lace at like the bottom used as a trim or something back then the whole dress was lace :0 and their hair looked better to i think because
of the style now some people can't pull it off
Well, it's just that many of today's actresses use lace for more skanky purposes, you know. The dresses are waaaay too short, the bust line is non-existent...they took the "classy" right out
of lace, these days.
lace is definitely a classic fabric.
1Yes it is, Audrey. Gotta love it!
2Totally AS. It will always represent elegance.
3i love lace it's so elegant looking and so formal
4I know, my prom dress last year was black lace over pink...it was soooo pretty and vintage-looking.
5oo what colour was it autunm?
6It was a pale pink/peach color with black lace over it. It was beautiful!
7it sounds beutiful

8What you described doesn't sound too cute to me either, Socc.
9Autumn, All these are beautiful! I've got a stupid question, who is in the first picture? She is really pretty.
10Thanks, BB! That's not a stupid question, you just didn't know. It's Lana Turner in the first pic.
11Autumn, thanks! I knew, she looked famaliar but, I just didn't know.
12You're welcome, BB! Anything to help you! And I repeat, it wasn't a stupid question...the only way you'd probably ever know was to ask me, right? I'm glad I could help you, though.

17Autunm ,in anything,

something that covers more that 5% of her skin
18You're so welcome, BB! Of course, of course, I've seen Roman Holiday! But you probably already figured that I've seen it, right? It's very good, and it's definitely a romance, alrighty! You should rent it, along with The Shop Around the Corner, lol.

***
24Yeah, back then it was more about the lace and now it's mainly used as an accent or something.
25Autumn, thanks for the "Roman Holiday" genre.
26You know you're welcome, BB! I suggest you see it..and The Shop Around the Corner, don't forget that one, lol.

34Well, it's just that many of today's actresses use lace for more skanky purposes, you know. The dresses are waaaay too short, the bust line is non-existent...they took the "classy" right out of lace, these days.
